Director of Development and Marketing
Lori Noonan serves as the Director of Development and Marketing with America’s Warrior Partnership where she is responsible for the successful start-up of new nonprofits in communities needing stronger holistic services for our Nation’s warriors.
She has served the nonprofit community, both as a volunteer and professional leader for more than 20 years. Lori has served as a consultant and coach with many nonprofits to help improve organizational capacity. She is a sought after speaker and trainer on business topics such as best practices, strategic planning and fundraising campaign management. She is a seasoned nonprofit executive with extensive experience with charitable organizations as well as member and trade organizations including the American Heart Association, CHRIS Kids, Catholic Charities, Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Lifework Leadership and League of Women Voters of Georgia.
She served as the first executive director of the Aviation Museum and Discovery Center located in Marietta, Georgia where she worked with a high profile board of directors and advisory board to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) among youth and to create a tribute to the rich aviation heritage of the community. She led the creation of a first-class educational program, guided their capital campaign to realize an $8 million goal, and developed museum programs that will serve the community for decades to come. Previously, she served as the first executive director of Camp Kudzu, a nonprofit serving children and adults with Type I Diabetes. There she elevated the nonprofit to new heights administratively, programmatically and financially increasing their budget 300% and service impact 400%.
She is proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy where she worked in special intelligence communications. Her husband currently serves in the Army with the 75th Ranger Regiment. She conducted her undergraduate and graduate studies in Business Management with the University of Maryland.
