Bowling for Brotherhood: A Mission to Serve Those Who Served

On September 7, Dog Tags Bowling hosted the Commander's Cup Tournament, raising $2,500 for Indy Warrior Partnership (IWP). These funds will support local veterans through community outreach events, strengthening the support network available to those who need it most.

The heart behind Dog Tags Bowling is a group with a deep-rooted commitment to service. Jason, an active-duty First Sergeant in a Special Operations unit, has spent nearly two decades serving in the Army, including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Gary dedicated ten years to the Navy before transitioning to work as a facilities inspector for the Army. Brian, a former US Army Honor Guard, is an Airborne and Ranger-qualified veteran with many commendations. Then there's Michelle, who brings her lifelong passion for bowling and expertise in the industry to bridge the gap between the veteran community and the sport.

This team channels their dedication and love for bowling into something bigger than themselves. Their efforts culminate in events like the Commander's Cup, where the spirit of service and solidarity is palpable. As a veteran-owned and veteran-run organization, Dog Tags Bowling is committed to giving back, ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly to supporting those who have sacrificed for our country.

"We appreciate as a team everything you guys have done, so thank you," expressed one of the Dog Tags Bowling members. "This is just the tip of the iceberg. We will do everything that we can for Indy Warrior Partnership."

With the support of organizations like Dog Tags Bowling, IWP can continue its mission to empower veterans and foster a sense of community and purpose. The Commander's Cup was more than just a tournament; it was a powerful reminder of the strength of veterans helping veterans, united by a shared mission to serve.Bowling for Brotherhood: A Mission to Serve Those Who Served
