Roberts is a Post 9/11 80% service connected veteran from Washington State. He and his wife have a small child and recently experienced a family crisis when his wife lost her job. They were unable to pay their rent and were at risk of eviction.
After finding America's Warrior Partnership online and completing the assistance request on our website, they were connected to The Network. The veteran and his family were connected to PenFed and he completed their intake process. America's Warrior Partnership requested that the case be expedited due to the threat of eviction, the extremely high cost of rehousing the family, and the presence of a child in the home. With this plan of action, the family was awarded the back rent and the wife was able to secure new employment to prevent this situation in the future!
